Acuvue Oasys Contacts - An Inside Look

Acuvue Oasys contacts are a new brand of contacts that have been developed specifically to help with eyes that are always feeling tired and dry.  These Acuvue Oasys contacts are made of a material known as “Hydraclear Plus” which is what gives these lenses their moist and smooth quality that allows them to remain comfortable while on your eye even when you’re in harsh environments, this reduces your dependence on eye droplets as well.

A few additional features of this lens are:

-It’s got UV-A and UV-B blocking capacity to help protect your eyes from the sun’s harmful UV rays.
-It doesn’t allow many protein deposits to stick to it meaning they’ll feel more comfortable and require less maintenance on your part.
-They have a visibility tint.  This will allow you to see the lenses in their solution better so you can find them and put them on that much easier.  The tint is not visible once the lens is on of course.
-There is an inside-out-mark on the lens so that you don’t wind up putting it on inside out.

I know I myself have always had an issue with my eyes feeling dry with contact lenses, so these Acuvue Oasys contacts are great for me.  With other contact lenses, sometimes even a slight breeze against my face when I’m walking would create a dryness or a feeling of discomfort, it was really quite annoying.
